Hireology pricing: what it costs and who it is really for

Updated August 2026. Prices and claims checked against live sources at that date.

Hireology's website shows plan names (Core and Perform) but no prices, and hireology.com/pricing returns a 404 as of August 2026. Here is what third-party sources report, plus the fit question most pricing pages skip: Hireology is built for automotive dealers, healthcare, and hospitality, not for cleaning or home service companies.

What Hireology costs

Software Advice lists Hireology's starting price at $249 per month. SelectHub reports the same $249 monthly starting point. Capterra's listing shows tiered packages also anchored at $249 per month, with no free trial or free version. Enterprise pricing is custom. Multi-location operators should expect per-location scaling in the quote.

Review data

Hireology rates 4.2 across 127 reviews on Software Advice with a 71% recommend rate (SelectHub's larger sample shows 84%). Its strongest scored capability is applicant tracking. Recurring complaints in review summaries: a mobile app that lags the desktop version, integration gaps flagged by reviewers, and support staffing (one HR manager quoted: 'I asked for a new representative and was told they're not adequately staffed to provide me with someone else').

For comparison, CareerPlug rates 4.7 with a 93% recommend rate at a reported fraction of the price. We keep a full head-to-head on our Hireology vs CareerPlug page.

The fit question: Hireology is not built for cleaning

Hireology's industry pages cover retail automotive, healthcare, and hospitality. Its 'home care' vertical means senior in-home caregiving agencies (customers like Brightstar Care, Comfort Keepers, and Visiting Angels), which is a different business from residential cleaning. There is no cleaning industry presence. A cleaning company evaluating Hireology is paying an automotive-grade price for a platform whose playbooks were written for other industries.

Qualified Hires is the opposite trade: built by a cleaning company owner, priced in the open: $4,000 one-time for a funnel you own, $3,000 per month for the managed service, and speed-to-contact numbers we publish and measure on our own crews.

Why listen to us

Qualified Hires is built and run by the owner of Cascade Home Cleaning, a residential cleaning company doing over $100K per month per location. Our own crews are hired through the platform. Across 272 applicants in the 30 days before this was written, the median time from application to first text message was 7.9 minutes, and 4 out of 5 applicants got a first touch within 10 minutes. Those numbers come straight from our production database, measured August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Hireology cost?

Hireology does not publish prices. Software Advice and SelectHub both report a $249 per month starting price as of 2026, with custom enterprise pricing. Their own site shows plan names (Core, Perform) without numbers.

Does Hireology work for cleaning companies?

Nothing stops you from using it, but Hireology's verticals are automotive, healthcare, and hospitality, and its home care focus means senior caregiving agencies, not cleaning. There is no cleaning-specific product or playbook.

Is there a cheaper Hireology alternative for hourly hiring?

CareerPlug is reported around $50 per location per month with stronger review scores. PipeHire runs $99 to $479 per month and is cleaning-specific. Qualified Hires is $4,000 one-time, or $3,000 per month managed if you want hiring run for you. See our Hireology alternatives page for the full comparison.
