CareerPlug pricing: the numbers they do not publish

Updated August 2026. Prices and claims checked against live sources at that date.

CareerPlug has no public pricing page. As of August 2026, careerplug.com/pricing returns a 404, and the company routes pricing questions through a sales conversation. If you just want the number before booking a demo, this page collects what is publicly reported.

What CareerPlug costs

SelectHub reports CareerPlug starting at $50 per location per month. Other third-party reviews place the range at roughly $40 to $100 per location per month depending on plan. Reported plan names are Limited, Hire, and Grow, with monthly billing reported as available only on Grow subscriptions. A support article on CareerPlug's own help site discusses subscriptions and pricing but does not list numbers publicly.

For context, that pricing is per location. A single-location cleaning company is looking at roughly $600 to $1,200 per year for the software layer, before any job board spend. Sponsored job budget on Indeed or ZipRecruiter is separate and usually costs more than the software itself.

What you get, and what reviewers flag

CareerPlug reviews are genuinely strong: 4.7 out of 5 across 97 reviews on Software Advice, with 4.8 for value and 4.8 for support, and a 93% recommend rate. It is franchise-first software (the homepage leads with 400+ franchise brands) and it has a dedicated cleaning services page.

Recurring complaints from Capterra reviewers, quoted directly: missed notifications ('Not getting notifications if an applicant replied'), email deliverability ('when responding to an email the applicant will call and state they have not received my email'), and scale limits ('they self stated that they could not scale with a larger company'). Reviewers also note expired jobs do not refresh on their own.

CareerPlug vs Qualified Hires for cleaning companies

CareerPlug is software you operate: it posts jobs, collects applicants, and gives you pipelines, and you do the daily work of responding, screening, and scheduling. Qualified Hires sells the outcome instead. The $4,000 one-time build sets up your entire hiring funnel (platform-specific job ads, automated first-touch texting within minutes, structured screening and interviews) and you own it with no monthly fee. The managed service runs hiring for you at $3,000 per month plus ad costs, with a one-time $2,500 tech onboarding. We publish prices because we think hiding them wastes everyone's time.

Why listen to us

Qualified Hires is built and run by the owner of Cascade Home Cleaning, a residential cleaning company doing over $100K per month per location. Our own crews are hired through the platform. Across 272 applicants in the 30 days before this was written, the median time from application to first text message was 7.9 minutes, and 4 out of 5 applicants got a first touch within 10 minutes. Those numbers come straight from our production database, measured August 2026.

Frequently asked questions

How much does CareerPlug cost per month?

CareerPlug does not publish pricing. SelectHub reports a starting price of $50 per location per month, and third-party reviews place the typical range at $40 to $100 per location per month across the reported Limited, Hire, and Grow plans (checked August 2026).

Does CareerPlug have a free plan?

Third-party sources reference a limited entry tier, but CareerPlug does not publish plan details publicly. Confirm current tiers directly with their sales team.

Is CareerPlug worth it for a cleaning business?

If you want to run hiring yourself inside a well-reviewed tool, it is one of the strongest general options and has a cleaning industry page. If your problem is that nobody has time to work the applicants at all, software alone does not fix that; a built funnel or a managed service does.
