Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

Qualified Hires ("QH", "we", "us") is hiring software built for home service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it — whether you're a business using QH, a job applicant, or just visiting one of our pages.

2. What We Collect From Businesses

• Account info: your name, email, phone, company name, and password (stored hashed — we can't read it)
• Billing info: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: which features you use, so we can make the product better
• Anything you enter into the product: job posts, message templates, notes

3. What We Collect From Job Applicants

When you apply to a job through a QH careers page, your name, phone, email, and application answers are stored in QH and processed on behalf of the employer you applied to. That employer owns your application data — we're the software they use to manage it.

If you applied to a job, the employer (not QH) decides how your application is used. If you want your data corrected or deleted, contact the employer first — or email us and we'll help route the request.

4. Text Messages

If you applied to a job through a QH careers page, the employer may send you text messages about your application through our platform. Reply STOP to any message to opt out — opt-outs are honored immediately and automatically.

We do not send marketing texts to applicants, and we don't sell phone numbers. Ever.

5. Cookies & Tracking

On our marketing and landing pages we use:

• Analytics (PostHog) — to understand how visitors use our pages
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — to measure whether our ads work. Meta's use of this data is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.
• First-party attribution cookies — so if you signed up after clicking an ad, we know which ad worked

You can block cookies in your browser and the site will still work. Inside the logged-in product, we only use cookies needed to keep you signed in.

6. Who We Share Data With

Service providers who help us run QH: hosting, payment processing (Stripe), SMS delivery, email delivery, and analytics. Each gets only what it needs to do its job.

We do not sell your data. We do not sell applicant data. We do not share data with third parties for their own marketing.

7. How Long We Keep It

As long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal and backup purposes. If you close your account, you can export your data first. To request deletion of your data, email us.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (CCPA in California, GDPR in Europe, and similar laws elsewhere), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email us and we'll handle it — no forms, no runaround.

9. Changes

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update this page and note the change. Continuing to use QH after a change means you accept it.
