About You

You're an experienced heavy equipment operator and chainsaw expert who loves working outdoors in Texas hill country. You take pride in precision work, have integrity in everything you do, and you're driven to master your craft while keeping safety and quality first.

What You'll Do

Here's what a typical day looks like:

  • βœ“Operate heavy equipment including skid steers with mulchers, excavators, tracked chippers, and log grapples across Central Texas ranches and properties
  • βœ“Drop, limb, and buck trees with precision using chainsaws, handling cedar, mesquite, and oak while maintaining safety standards
  • βœ“Manage slash through chipping, hauling, burning, and scattering to prevent wildfire fuel buildup
  • βœ“Perform daily equipment inspections and conduct field repairs to keep machinery running at peak performance
  • βœ“Execute erosion control work including contour felling and installing erosion barriers on lakefront and residential properties
  • βœ“Work across multiple Central Texas counties (Travis, Hays, Blanco, Burnet) delivering consistent 5-star service to clients

Requirements

  • β€’2+ years hands-on experience operating forestry heavy equipment (skid steers, excavators, tracked chippers, mulchers)
  • β€’Proven chainsaw skills and ability to fell, limb, and buck trees safely and precisely
  • β€’Must be 18 years of age or older
  • β€’Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required
  • β€’US work authorization required
