We need a skilled Service Technician to maintain and repair commercial buses, garbage trucks, and specialty vehicles in our Thorofare and New Brunswick shops. You'll work on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components on equipment that serves schools and municipalities across the Mid-Atlantic. This is hands-on work for someone who takes pride in quality repairs and wants to work somewhere that values your expertise.
“We've been in this business since 1884, and that longevity means something. We're not just moving equipment around South Jersey and beyond, we're keeping the trucks and buses that matter to our communities running day in and day out. When you work here as a Service Technician, you're not a cog in a machine. You're the person making sure a school bus full of kids is safe, or that a municipality's garbage collection doesn't skip a beat. That responsibility matters to us. We've built this company on doing right by our customers and treating our people fairly. You'll work with real techs who know their trade, have access to the equipment you need to do solid work, and won't be forgotten when things get busy.”
“I came here expecting to turn wrenches, and that's what I do, but I also got training on the newer diesel systems and hydraulics that keep me sharp. The shop in Thorofare is clean, tools are maintained, and if you find something broken, they fix it instead of making you work around it.”
“Working on commercial buses and refuse trucks means every job matters. You're not fixing someone's weekend car, you're fixing equipment that's out there every day. That's real work, and the company respects that with fair pay and steady hours.”
“Being employee owned changes how people treat you. There's no turnover like you see at big chains. You build relationships with your coworkers and your boss actually knows your name and listens when you have an idea about how to do things better.”
